This project includes a new administration building based on the current Douglas Border Patrol Station, and incidental related work. In addition to the main station building, there are support buildings including a vehicle maintenance shop, car wash facility, a helicopter pad, an indoor pistol range and an outdoor rifle range, a secure seized vehicle lot, a communication tower, and canine kennels. Site development includes covered and uncovered parking, seized vehicle area, bus parking area a fuel island with unleaded as well as diesel fuel, and elevated fuel tanks, a car wash with canopy, landscaping, emergency generator, conduit and support building for radio tower, security fence & lights, septic tank with leech field, sewer dump station, retention pond, fire pump house and 125,000 gallon storage tank. Zaxon provided cost estimating services from Program Phase to 100% Final Design submittal utilizing MCACES. Project cost including options is $ 35.6 Million.
